She went straight to the hall holding the museum's celebrated statue collection of Hellenistic heroines, and sat down on a stone bench and looked up into the ceiling's glass cupola. She pulled out her notebook and a navy blue pencil and unleashed layers of loose lines across the page. The drapes of Athena's skirt, her nose, her sandaled feet, the ropes holding her gown together. She arose from her seat, and held the spirit of the Goddess close to her side for the rest of the day.
