“The disappearance of the star of Arcturus signals the commencement of summer,” whispered Asha to her friend as she stared through the telescope. “Arcturus is still here.” It was a warm night, and they stood on the deck of his summer rental listening to the ocean waves lit by the moon and the earth’s constellations. “It is said that Arcturus is the rest stop for souls to decide if they will continue on to earth or go back to heaven.
